The Pittsburg Cycle Collection
After writing several plays during the 80's, August Wilson began to notice the unintentional pattern of his plays taking place in their own separate decades. Wilson decided to continue with the trend and wrote several plays to fill in the missing time periods, with all the the plays (except one) taking place in Pittsburg as well. Thus, his 10-play collection of the "The Pittsburg Cycle" came about.
